FAQs
What are you doing?
We are opening a Pop-Up Shop in St Agnes in a shipping container. We are selling a range of products mainly from the South West, with a few gorgeous products creeping in from further afield. We have tried to find companies that give back in some way. 100% of the profits is going into a social enterprise supporting young people with disabilities in employment.
Why are you doing it?
Millie was looking for a summer job after she turned 16. Due to Millie's complex disabilities, living with Alstrom Syndrome, this was going to be difficult. In a crazy moment, we had the idea to open a Pop-Up Shop in our garden. This is a place where Millie could gain confidence, experience and have fun with the support of the family close by.
What are your opening hours?
We aim to be open between 11am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday, with the occasional late evening. Please pop in if you see the signs out, or call ahead if making a special trip. There may be times where we aren't open due to personal reasons.
Is there parking available?
There is limited parking available but please be mindful of the neighbours. There is also parking available within the village, which is a short walk away from the Pop-Up Shop.
How long are you doing it for?
We are opening for 7 weeks from the 22nd July to the 9th September.
Will we meet Millie?
Millie will be working in the shop. She can some times be overwhelmed so might be on a break.
Will your product selection change?
Yes, we are really enjoying discovering gorgeous brands. We are particularly focusing on brands that give back somehow.
Can I sell put my products in your Pop-Up Shop?
Please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
How else can I support?
Please share what we are doing, pop in and visit even if just to say hi. We also accept donations if you'd prefer.
